The big 40 is looming.....and suddenly you wake up in die morning, looking for extra wrinkles.....and lo and behold....found one right where EVERYBODY can see it.
Panic station.....rush to chemist for moisturiser, google pros and cons of of botox, glare at others, scrutinizing their faces......who said life begins at 40?

They are crazy......self assurance drops away life raindrops from a tree, it cannot be caught....it's gone forever.
This should be a new beginning.....mostly kids are grown up (sort of), careers have taking up the last ten years of your life......and then you wake up!!!!!
Courses teach you that people over 40 are "considered old" and work opportunities few and far in between.
Married for 20 years.......all of a sudden you cannot stand to look at yourself in the mirror......who is this stranger staring at me?
Plan of action needed: change diet, go for a haircut, buy new clothes and shoes.......help......I need a total make over, or face total breakdown!!!!!

Anybody out there feel the same way??????
Surely I cannot be the only one wondering where is the "good days" going to come from?????

Should I get hysterical, or go into a "mid life crises depression"?
Surely it can't be THAT bad.......my mirror is lying to me, Cosmo doesn't know what they're talking about.....what's the "miracle cure" for 40's blues??????
